Let’s be honest - we are a lazy species. But here is the thing. The shortest way is not always the easiest one. And surely it doesn't come with all the astonishing views of the landscape around. Sometimes you have to come full circle to experience the fullness and depth. To DISCOVER. So, let us take you for a walk ;). Our guides in the second part of the Discovery workshops story will be Kamila Herezińska, Product Owner, and Maciej Wiśniewski, UX/UI Designer. They have the same background, working together in the same project’s team but their perspective is slightly different. But they both agree – Discovery workshops are mandatory for planning work anchored in reality. 

The thing with the first impression is that we can make it only once. Every new action we take, in any sphere of life, contains this magical, unrepeatable factor of surprise.  We are exploring the unknown. The same applies to the process of introducing products/apps to new users. The line between having a good onboarding experience and getting lost in functionalities is very thin. So, how to make it right? 

Most of the time, before starting the project, clients don't see the point in taking part in the Discovery workshops, assuming that the most important things are included in the brief. However, as the name suggests, the brief is only a general description that shows more or less what the whole process would look like; it doesn't give us further context on the topic being discussed. At Inwedo, most of the projects we're involved in are mission-critical, such as key business processes, so it's important for both the client and our team to fully understand the situation and prepare tailored insights for the road ahead.
