The Challenge

Scattered onboarding process, lack of a unified knowledge base for new employees.

The majority of tasks, documents and company know-how was scattered across various sources. Welcoming new employees was not always carried out within identical guidelines. It was difficult not only to measure the onboarding process satisfaction and progress, but also introduce planned improvements.

Solution

Web portal that guides new employees through all the stages of the onboarding process. HR-TOOL is divided into four modules. 
Each corresponds to various aspects of company life and new work environment orientation. The system navigates new employees during their first days. The app assists managers during HR interviews, gathers all the coworkers contact data in one place, and provides various statistics.

Results

Comprehensive system to assist the staff’s first steps in Decathlon stores and warehouses. HR-TOOL has already been introduced as the no. 1 onboarding application in 57 Decathlon stores and warehouses across Poland. Thanks to the creation of the portal – it was possible to unify the process across departments, and make sure all Decathlon standards on introducing new employees are met successfully.
