Business Process Improvement (BPI) is an approach focused on defining ineffective business processes within the organization and then redesigning the current or designing and implementing new solutions to improve business processes.
Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) is the delegation of one or more business processes to be built, extended, or maintained and managed by an external vendor. Business process outsourcing may vary depending on the location (nearshore and offshore), the specificity of the industry, and the type of services provided.
The other extension of BPO acronym is Business Process Optimization
Business Process Engineering (BPE) is a way to design and implement new business processes within the organization. BPE is focused on creating solutions with high efficiency and possible positive impact on other business processes in a way defined by succes criteria.
Business Process Reengineering (BPR) is a part of business management strategy which involves locating and redesigning existing business processes and workflows, especially those that have a critical impact on the company’s performance. The reengneering processes involves improving aspects such as quality, performance, better cost effectiveness and speed.
